Football crazy

Anything goes, but keep it seemly...

ttt That's just my weird sense of humour. Madonna being manager of Argentina would have been further proof of odd things happening in soccer. She did play Eva Peron in the film of 'Evita' so there is a 'slight' connection.:)

It's a horrible weekend for Australia "footy" wise.:( Lost to Ireland again (this time by 4 pts) and then lost to NZ in HK, blowing a big lead again. I wouldn't bet on their chances against England tomorrow.

If Tottenham upsets Liverpool later, it would ease my disappointment of Hull's unevitable loss to the hated Devils (which will drop them further down the ladder).

It would be a real shock if Australia were beaten by England at League, they comfortably beat NZ who did likewise to PNG.
The more tricky question is whether any European sides can take a victory against a Tri-Nations side in Union. A feast of matches to come.:)

Arsenal fall to the long throws of Stoke. 5 goals again for Chelsea. Hull nearly comeback against Man Utd.

Tottenham get another winner in stoppage time to strip Liverpool of their unbeaten record. Next stop Man City. It ain't over 'til the Fat Lady sings but even Mark Hughes's millions can't sign one until the transfer window in January. Should they have snapped up Ronaldo in September?

ttt I know what you mean. Despite amassing 7 pts in 3 matches the Hotspurs are still rock bottom, at least 2 pts behind everyone else. But that's their punishment for getting only 2 pts for 8 matches. And they can blame that all on Juande.

And Obama has won the election. By a huge margin too.

udosuk I just found this on eBay:

I assume the $599 includes round trip air from California to London.

Luke 451 Better to wait for the Arsenal v Chelsea game, don't want to be a cheapskate. Real Madrid v Barcelona looks a snip too.:)

Luke451 Ticket prices at Chelsea run from £35 for a Premiership game, so the operator is making a significant profit. Of course some of the matches might not have availability. Anyway Joe the plumber usually charges £100 per hour in London.:(
