Even though I'm a *huge* Major League Soccer fan and a 1906 Ultra (San Jose Earthquakes), I never forget that it was threads like this that brought me to the English Premier League. 999_Springs organized seasonal contests and I'd always pick Liverpool at the top of the table, mainly because no one else would.

Now this season is coming to a close, and Liverpool fans are coming out of the woodwork here in San Francisco. With the widely expanded television packages covering the EPL in the States, there are growing support groups for all the top tier sides. This morning there were about 100 of us Kopites packed into the Kezar Pub at 5:30 AM, and yes, at the end we did sing "You'll Never Walk Alone."

When people ask me what the hell brought me to Liverpool FC, I just look at em and say, "Sudoku."
