Here is one with 42 clues, 39 of them "partnered".
- Code: Select all
1 2 3 . 6 . . . 8
4 5 6 . . 8 . 1 .
7 8 9 . . 1 6 . .
. . . 2 . 6 1 8 .
8 . . . 1 3 . . 6
. 6 1 8 7 . . . .
. . 8 1 . . 9 6 3
. 1 . 6 . . 8 5 2
6 . . . 8 . 7 4 1
Mauricio, that's also very impressive.
However, I suggest that these puzzles be posted with the symmetry about the r1c1-to-r9c9 diagonal, as JPF did. Then the puzzle can be loaded into Excel -- or other software with a transpose function -- and compared to a transposed copy.
AFAIK Excel does not have a 90-degree rotate function ... so as to do the same with for puzzles with symmetry about the r1c9-to-r9c1 diagonal.
Sorry, I never seem to remember which is defined to be the anti-diagonal.
