I am so glad someone had a contact to ask a question. I have been getting 404 messages all week when I tried to get on the site, part of my daily routine. Today instead of 404, I got a screen with IIS7, which then links to a Microsoft site, all very confusing. Definitely having withdrawal symptoms! Finally today when I again searched for information on why the site was inaccessible, this thread of discussion popped up, so I know it is not a problem just on my computers. I do hope the site comes back on line soon.

So glad to connect with other players on this still-missing site!
Pinging sudoku.org.uk since Sunday, testing via downforeveryoneorjustme.com --
Until today (Sat) test came back as "down for everyone" but today the test reads "it's just you".
But as an earlier forum poster noted, when one attempts to visit the site, the IIS7 landing page appears with a link to that goofy Microsoft site.
Let's hope it's back up soon!

I hope the site isn't gone for good. I keep hoping someone here (not me, too computer dumb) can contact someone with the site and find out what is actually going on, perhaps even get them to come on here and explain. I don't even have a physical address for sudoku.org.uk to write them a snail-mail query.

Anyone who can get true complete information will be my next nominee to the Sudoku Hall of Fame...

Sunday morning and no sudokus again. I fear that my favourite site is down for good. I'm now getting diverted immediately to http://forums.iis.net/.

I've also been trying to get onto the site all week . This morning I also get the 404 error.

Looks like the site is partially up. the site sudoku.org.uk actually returns an active page, but not fully rendered. Links to the competitions (which are to me as addictive as diet coke) is still not working...but hopefully soon

Something's up online (Sunday, july 26) but still no way to access the Competition tab or a link to the Daily Sudoku ... at least not from a mobile phone.
Perhaps even the presence of a dummy site is a sign of progress ... unless the dummy is me not being able to see/access the tabs and links!
Anyone else see this?

Front page now back up and a few links work. But not the competitions. Anyone know more?

it looks like a little progress. Still no Competition tab, but portions of the home page now appear.
