Anything goes, but keep it seemly...

But the concrete made it a hard one:!:

No it doesn't, it is a CONCRETE-EATING DOG, my neighbour's dog does that, not sure if it was before or after it had the spinal surgery though:D

One more try on Ruud's birthday:

From the first 4 cells on the top row, it reads 2 3 1 58, so 23th Jan 1958? These cells were originally clueless.

Please at least tell me if there is any part (day/month/year) was right, or am I on the right line. The year 1958 was tried before...

The day is correct.

Unfilled cells? Cells with candidate markings? Number of duplicate solutions (in that case 3)...

Is the day 23 coming from r1c12 or other info?

The unsolved cells are on rows 1,4,5 and columns 2,4,6 and nonets 2,4,5... Are these relevant?

I think I spent way too much time on this...

the first line of the grid supplied by udosuk would be: (replacing cells with more than 1 candidate with a 0).

Thanks! I just need to know the solution after spending so much time on this!:)

So your birthday is almost exactly 6 months away... Let's send some (very) early birthday greetings!:D

Have I been the giant providing a shoulder for others to stand on this time? Sounds like the story of my life...

BTW I must confess I read Luna's post before I replied, yet I couldn't work out the "zero" from the suggestion of "ten"... Just haven't got tarek's vision...:(
