The smoke alarm went off when I was testing this puzzle for minimality. That's quite disturbing. I blame that on g.r.emlin.

Having said that .... I would like to see a much higher bonus for the last valid submitted puzzle (1/2 or more of the top score

), this will hopefully make players look harder for those rarer puzzles for a much rewarding result which would increase the total puzzles per game.

how about a bonus for the highest rating that is a percentage of the total score of all players,
so the bonus would increase as the game progresses
for this game 50% would be almost enough for tarek to win

gsf, you've got a truckload of puzzles there with the wrong pattern!

I would favour a bonus that would result in an increased number of puzzles overall.

1. A HUGE bonus for the Last entry (as per gsf suggestion) ... Because this will force people to look for more becaus ethe reward is high.
2. Possibly a HUGE bonus towards the Highest rating entry. This might not lead to more puzzles per game but it might lead to High rating puzzles per game.

I checked my game log and early on I poisoned a candidate cache with a few bad puzzles
the final tally will catch those bad ::: more ::: entries and apply the penalty

it would have, but the game is closed
you can hang on to the good ones too long

I may have time to add the extra highest bonus for the next game
