Hello : a small explaination

the sudoku are rated ER/EP/ED by the gsf's version of sudokuExplainer
ED is the rating of the first move,
EP is the max rating of the moves until the first number is placed on the grid
ER is the max rating of all the moves , until the grid is completed
by the way we always have ER>=EP>=ED
the rating of the moves extends form 1.2 up to 11.5

we say we have a pearl when ER=EP and a diamond when ER=EP=ED

in the pattern game for each ER we try to find the higest possible EP/ED
you can only play for an ER a sudoku with a higher rating than the previous played

I have played (submission rank 56)

the only "playable" sudoku for ER=7.7 should be a diamond because the only possible rating with er=7.7 and higher than 7.7/7.7/7.6 is 7.7/7.7/7.7

yours is ED=7.7/7.1/6.6 which is lower
in this case gremlin (a robot) refuse the submission a gives a penality

You can see the complete rules of the game in the first post of this thread

an extract :
Each player can post (submit) a new puzzle with the following properties:

• valid
• same pattern
• minimal
• not isomorphic to any previous puzzle in the current game
• different ER from any previous puzzle in the current game or an ER/EP/ED greater than the highest submitted ER/EP/ED with the same ER by another player (a trump); trumping ones own entry (a self-trump) is not allowed

and in the point attribtion rules :
assign -50 for each invalid submission

You should see what you can do with open rating 4.6 4.8 4.9 5.1 6.1

I've found some sudoku for 4.6, 4.8 and 6.1
but none for 4.9 and 5.1

enxio27, It takes time to enter in the game and to be efficient...

I see now what happened. I understood the rules, but somehow I missed seeing your submission and thought that no one had yet submitted a 7.7. It was a record-keeping failure on my part. Disappointing, because now I have lost 100 points because of this, but it's clearly my own fault.

Is anyone making an effort to fix that bug?

Nobody will try to change the referee, this has been discussed long ago. You have other bugs leading to much worse situations as a penalty. (different ratings for different morphs of a puzzle)
