This 8.1/7.3/3.6 puzzle is also quite unusual for its solution paths. Initially, there are numerous fish and chains but then one gets to a dead end with nothing non-assumptive.
How about a Kraken Finned X-Wing with one fin? Would that move be regarded as non-assumptive? I think such a move can be regarded as a bidirectional chain that contains an X-Wing as a node. If I am correct, then this puzzle does fall with only non-assumptive moves.
