# 10 - A city one contains these. How about "A little shop around the corner"?

Cec, you're baarking up the wrong tree:D

"A city one" sounds really unnatural... Is the "A" used as an article (e.g. "a person", "a cat") or is it in fact used as a "capital letter" (e.g. "A-grade", "A-class")?

I bet it has nothing to do with the movie "City Slickers"...

Presumably the "aa" in baarking is a hint but I don't get it ... Is the answer related to "City One" that udosuk mentioned?
Also the "wrong tree" hint brings to mind the Oscar winning movie "A tree grows in Brooklyn" but I don't think this is right.
Now after midnight so beddy-byes time. Golf day tomorrow so this should be solved when I get home tomorrow afternoon. I like the old movies so I've enjoyed this thread and it's only into the third page:)

Hud wrote:"Anyone see "The Thing"

Yes Hud, I think that was the scary film where the monster was not revealed until the end of the film. I think the monster was played by James Arness of "Matt Dillon" fame - Sorry to get sidetracked here but hope I'm forgiven.

"The Thing from another world" 1951 starring James Arness.

"The Thing" 1982 starring Kurt Russel, which Hud is asking about, is a mordern remake of "The Thing from another world".

"A" as used as an article.

Nothing to do with "City Slickers" or "City One" and is not "A tree grows in Brooklyn".

Cec, you might be feeling sheepish when you see the answer.

It's not "Blade Runner 2" or,

"Rambo".

* A city one contains these.

A city one, as compared to ...:?:

Does "a city one" mean "a person living in the city/urban area"?

I'm struggling with what 'A city one" means too.
"A city one as compared to" a city two? So could it be "A tale of two cities".
Sounds a bit stupid I know because there's no sheep but I'm trying anything now ......it could draw more hints LOL

No.

Yes.

Since you all seem to be having difficulty with this one here's an easy clue:

Two legs bad: Four legs good.

Well thought out underquark but how does MCC's hints regarding sheep relate to a piano? I think the sheep hint has to be a key to solving this %$#&@#$ movie. Whatever it is I won't be watching it again:)

The Piano is a story based in New Zealand, which is famous for sheep. Here you go...:D

But the clue was "A city one contain these"... So the answer should be in plural form... I was thinking along the line of cats & dogs, or cars... But don't think so... How about "The silence of the lambs"?

No.

Neither is it "The Piano".

Does this help:?:
A satirical allegory of Soviet totalitarianism.
