What Am I? (M1)

Anything goes, but keep it seemly...

OK! These ‘u’s are not sheep, they have no fleece! They are boats. U-boat was supposed to be the trigger.

Remember what I said about assumptions. And what you said about variety.:D

Clues = multi vessel ensemble makes joint sortie under navigation and moving quickly.

"u u u u u " = boats! I don't think so.

And what did you say -

Ah yes "a new mnemonic for the planets " with nothing to say that there is any connection to your riddle.

Since there seems to be two or more threads in each post, if your going to do things like you did above, then there should be something to say that there is a connection, no matter how obscure.

I thought I did connect the riddle to the mnemonic when

Anyway, never mind about all that.

The latest on dwarf planets:

The newest dwarf planet to join the solar system designated 2003UB313 is now called "Eris" and it's satellite is now known as "Dysnomia".

On the list ready to join are:

2005FY9 - Easterbunny.

2003EL61 - Santa.

This could be the Australian deep-sea synchronized swimming team, three members of which have been replaced by sharks.

MCC! I would never set a riddle around a swear word. That would be crass.

This is neither the 4 letter word nor the 8 letter word. This is in fact two words, the combined sum of whose component parts amounts to 10.

On the third row down next to the 'Enter' key above the 'Hash' sign, press this key whilst holding down the 'Shift' Key.

emm wrote:.it = Tidbits ’neath total filth

Tidbits = tasty morsel

’neath total filth = dirt

So, "Tidbits ’neath total filth" = worms

$ = worm on a hook:?:

".it" could mean fishbait, but that's only eight letters not ten.

How about "Hellgamite":?: (Zoöl.) The aquatic larva of a large American winged insect (Corydalus cornutus), much used as fish bait by anglers; the dobson. It belongs to the Neuroptera.

Nice association of odd ideas, MCC. Unfortunately it falls apart at the 8 letter word, as you say.

Also soil where worms live is not the same thing as dirt / filth - but then you're a Londoner.:D

I didn't say anything, I was thinking it.

What are you implying.

Soil can have several meanings, I was thinking as a crossword solver.

Have you never heard of nightsoil:?:

And what do you think "soil" is:?: It's the excrement of worms.

I was thinking of an anagram with part of, but not all of,
Tidbits ’neath total filth

And is
That obstinate tidal filth

suppose to be an anagram as well - it does have an extra "a" in it:?:

You were doing a lot of thinking MCC. That's good.

The extra ‘a’ is optional as in rag man / a rag man.

There - I’ve given you the first word. The rest should be easy.:D
