the rarity bonus calculation is listed under scoring

• (25*(2-count+1)) for each non-trumped entry with ER/EP/ED count (from all previous games) <= 2
• (10*(2-count+1)) for each trumped entry with ER/EP/ED count (from all previous games) <= 2

This pattern differs from game 0116 by only one clue, and it's in the center box. Looks like the best first move in this one is going to be locked candidates, rather than the swordfish of game 0116.

all the pattern I piled are variations of an older one with less clues.

It seems again they are not interesting at all.

I suggest that gsf clean my file of submitted pattern. Then, I'll look for more promissing ones.

In that game, I tried to play the penalty, but about 20 hours later, I have in cache all entries, but not more.
The game shoud come soon to the end (if not already there).

I also looked for puzzles non minimal, but again, nothing exiting. So far my best ER for such puzzles is 9.7

Aha, so an untrumped rarity is worth 25, 50 or 75 points depending on the "count." Thanks.
