I am with making sure that we have an agreement on what needs to be done.

I don't think that m_b_metcalf's resignation proved that the bonus change was wrong. The puzzle cache that he wouldn't post could have been posted by somebody else & he would have lost the game. His resignation would have been effective if he was ahead in 2 a horse race. This strategy was effective even before the bonuses were introduced.

My opinion about this still remains the same: Biggest bonus for last entry, lesser bonuses for anything else.

I disagree entirely. The Holy Grail of the Game has always been, and should remain, gigantic Diamonds, and these should be rewarded above all else. It's absurd that a puny 6.2 should be better rewarded just because someone had more patience.
