Anything goes, but keep it seemly...

So MCC, I would be interested to know how many guesses that site used just to give us a benchmark?:)

I won.

It asked me 30 questions before declaring that I had won.

It stated that there were three contradictions in my replies, but I could argue otherwise that they weren't contradictions.

People seem reluctant to guess - why is that?

You can only narrow it down so much - at some point someone’s going to have to stick their neck out and hope to get a lead. Since we won the rugby, I’m changing sports and kicking for touch. Let me know when my limit's up.:D

Are you associated with the arts?

People need to be more hestitant towards the end, with questions/guesses, rather than at the beginning.

Emm, there is no personal limit, if you're the only one asking questions then go ahead.

20 questions(MCC1)

Postby Cec » Mon Nov 13, 2006 11:40 pm

I'm sure the reluctance of people to post a question is like me in knowing a wrong question reduces the chances for somebody else to eventually come up with the right answer.... a bit of "Alfred Hitchcock" mystery about it.

About half an hour ago I decided to stick my neck out and posted an answer "another riddle" but then deleted this after realizing this is not a physical object. I also thought it might be something to do with the approaching Xmas but still can't come up with a question considering the above clues. ..... So I'll ponder some more.

Ok, this is proving difficult because of the reluctancy of people to ask a question and of the time waiting for an answer to a previous question before asking another, so this will be the one and only 20 questions unless the rules are changed.

I don't see anything wrong with a question a day - or with waiting for the last answer before asking another. I'm as interested in the kind of questions other people will think to ask, as I am in whatever it is MCC is thinking of.
