What am I (3a)

Anything goes, but keep it seemly...

What am I (3a)

Not claiming to be half as good as MCC, here is another gap-filler:

I heard you cross the border.

What am I?

Ok Ruud, to get things going.

Are you one word?

Are you an 'Echo':?:

Didn't you have something better to do, MCC? I can't keep 'em busy forever...:D

To answer your questions:

Yes, I am one word.

No, 'Echo' is wide off the mark.

This seems too literal - but how about trafficker?

traffic = as in 'communication of messages' = (I heard you)
human trafficking = the trade of human beings = (herd) + (cross the border)

Ruud, I was thinking that two riddles running at the same time might be one riddle too many, that's unless viewers disagree.

Back to yours.

Is it 'Yodel' or 'Yodelling'.

I was also thinking that: 'You' = 'U' and 'Cross' = 'X',
so UX could be part of Luxemberg, so

Is it 'Luxembourg' or 'Radio Luxembourg'.

Or how's about 'Rustler'.

I heard you = to know or understand
cross = | (sort of)
the border = edge

How's about knowledge?

The correct answer has not yet been posted.

The first part of the clue refers to an aspect of sound
I heard you cross

Did I say too much ?

Keep guessing...

Let's try 'BOOM' as in Sonic Boom:?:

Or is it 'Mach'. A play on 'MCC':?:
