What am I? (23)

Anything goes, but keep it seemly...

I presume, at some stage, somebody's gonna explain all the cryptic answers in this thread using the simplest and plainest English text?:?:

7827 ; 10/21/2003

7827=2+313*(26-1)
2->B
10/21 ->U
7827 + 10/21/2003 -> 2003UB313

Couldn't put it better JPF.

2003UB313 > P = NP

For those who haven't got it yet:
You should try shopping at Hermes.

Ok, answer time.

I am the Solar system:
Starts with the
Sun
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune

Pluto is missing as it is now not a planet but a dwarf planet.

From: "Don't let the sun go down on me" by Elton John

Too late to save myself from falling
I took a chance and changed your way of life
But you misread my meaning when I met you
Closed the door and left me blinded by the light

This was only to let JPF know he was on the wrong trail.

"Deep In the Heart of Texas" - "The stars at night, are big and bright, (clap, clap, clap, clap)
deep in the heart of Texas"
.

"That's Amore" - "When the moon hits your eye/Like a big-a pizza pie/That's amore".

Quote:
"Hard Rock Hallelujah"
original English lyrics

music & lyrics: Mr Lordi
arrangement: Lordi
performer: Lordi

Hard Rock Hallelujah!
Hard Rock Hallelujah!

The saints are crippled
On this sinners’ night
Lost are the lambs with no guiding light

The walls come down like thunder
The rocks about to roll
It’s the Arockalypse
Now bare your soul

All we need is lightning
With power and might
Striking down the prophets of false
As the moon is rising
Give us the sign
Now let us rise up in awe

Rock ’n roll angels bring thyn hard rock hallelujah
Demons and angels all in one have arrived
Rock ’n roll angels bring thyn hard rock hallelujah
In God’s creation supernatural high

The true believers
Thou shall be saved
Brothers and sisters keep strong in the faith
On the day of Rockoning
It’s who dares, wins
You will see the jokers soon’ll be the new kings

All we need is lightning
With power and might
Striking down the prophets of false
As the moon is rising
Give us the sign

Now let us rise up in awe

Rock ’n roll angels bring thyn hard rock hallelujah

The Frank Sinatra song " - "Fly Me To The Moon".

All the song were trying to get you to look to the skies, I was hoping you'ld see the common thread.

"I Vow to Thee, My Country"(Web link) the music is "Jupiter - The bringer of jollity" from Gustav Holst's "The Planet Suite".

2003UB313 officially, Xena unofficially.

I think that is all, if I missed anything let me know.

There is an evil twist to this answer MCC,

Even with Puto being a planet, Uranus at some periods of time due to its strange elliptical orbit would be actually the OUTERMOST planet in the SOLAR SYSTEM......

what are the last 3 letters of uranus:D

Thanks... Very perplexingly smart riddle... One that we could use to share amongst new friends...:)

Both MCC and emm's answers (restated by tarek) work fine...

I realise that there is a time element to this riddle, even if it is in hundreds of years and emm's answer is perfectly acceptable as an alternate answer to mine.

Some points I missed:
Pluto is a Roman god.
Hermes - The winged messenger - is a Greek god, the Roman equivalent is Mercury.
(Hermes is also the name of a boutique selling scarfs, ties etc).

One thing I like about these riddles is that there’s always more than one way of looking at things.:D
