What am I? (21)

Anything goes, but keep it seemly...

(my generation !)

'No' I wasn't (personnally), and - 'No' I'm not (riddlewise).

That's a double 'No' then.

Would a double 'No' be a 'NoNo':?:

Yes.

Yes/No.

It is a real thing that's not living, but not necessary an object...:?:

Not really...:(

Bare in mind it's related to music... Could it be a dead person? (But that would be a "who" not a "what"...)

I think that "Yes/No" answer requires some elaboration...

As you say, it's a "what" not a "who".

I think that "Yes/No" answer requires some elaboration...

What is an 'object': It is a material thing that can be seen or touched.

So that in a sense, when not being used, "What am I:?: " is an object, and when it is in use, "What am I:?: " is not an object.

I think this statement alone makes a pretty perplexing riddle itself...:D:idea:

E.g. food... When not eaten it's an object, once eaten and becomes the energy within our bodies it's not an object anymore...

Anything related to music has that property?:?:

The typing of these two quotes is slightly different. Is this a typo or intentional to mean a hint.

Sorry for any confusion this has caused, they are just typos. I tried to refer back to the original post whilst typing that reply but the 'topic review' wouldn't go back that far on the screen I was in (I should have open up a new screen).

So just concentrate on the wording of the riddle.

The. What am I:?:

What am I:?:

It should be obvious from udosuk's last post and my reply what area you should be looking at.

No need to be sorry MCC. it was a stupid "hunch" on my part because you rarely make typo errors...I'm still thinking:?:

Is the answer to this riddle knowing the title of a particular classical "piece" of music?. Hope you understand my wording here.
