That one is singularly un-amazing. Just multiply it out longhand, the way they used to teach in 3rd grade:

Code: Select all
          111111111
        x 111111111
--------------------
          111111111
         111111111
        111111111
       111111111
      111111111
     111111111
    111111111
   111111111
+ 111111111
--------------------

The fact that we have this "singularly un-amazing" item in this list makes the list itself more amazing I suppose...:D

The fact that the longhand form looks like a large 2 is truly amazing.:)

I guess the 111111111's on top, together with the line immediately under them, does give the impression of a curve at the top of a 2.

Thanks for all the replies and the interesting arguments between "2" & "Z"... As for me, it looks like an italic i (used to represent the imaginary number)... Talk about peculiar imagination...

Still waiting for somebody claiming the ability to lick the elbow... There's bound to be exceptions for every "fact"... Perhaps some martial arts expert with the special talent to temporarily dislodge his/her shoulder joint?:!:

What you do is:

Print out the words 'Your elbow' on to sheet of paper, and then lick it. Simple:idea:

Or if you're going to be pedantic about it, print out 'My elbow' instead.

No I could never do that but seated at a table with just a sheet of paper and pencil and my left hand tied to my left side I am able to write with my right elbow. How is this possible?
