I don't know why JPF did not play that one, but I am still convinced as when I stopped to generate puzzles after about 30 hours, that my position was very weak.

I was not prepared to pay the price to keep it in the "worst case"

Some comments on this pattern [edit: game0116].
I got only 6983 different puzzles.
With an independent search from the other players, I found all the posted puzzles but two: gsf 's 1.7/1.2/1.2 and ronk's 6.9/1.2/1.2

I guess that the total number of puzzles is less than 10,000.
An exhaustive search (anon17?) would be interesting in that case.

I arrived at 7131 essentially different puzzles for game0116, with the distribution of ED ratings below. More than 43% of the ratings are 7.1/7.1/3.8. Hadn't made an exhaustive search like this before, so confirmation of the 7131 number by anon17 or anyone else would be appreciated.

This puzzle popped up after g.r.emlin's deadline.
I started the game too late; it takes time for my programs to be really efficient.
By the way, the rythm of the game is a serious hurdle for potential newcomers.
