I'm using SudokuExplainer.jar given by gsf. I downloaded that program on 2009/01/04.
I thought g.r.emlin was using the same version

In addition, 1to9Only's PGExplainer gives the same rating ED=10.0/10.0/9.4

May I ask what rating do you get you guys when using SudokuExplainer.jar ?

The unknown bug in se rating ??? was posted by champagne in July 2010, so the problem has been known for years!!
PGExplainer is just a slim-down version of SE, so the bug will still be there. I come across this problem every now and then!

The bug was fixed by lksudoku a long time ago, and the fix is NOT in SudokuMonster's SE when using newer techniques and ratings.

Edit: I last used 1.2.1.3 for the Patterns Game a very long time ago...
