By any means foul or fair !
The pattern could be searched for in champagnes hardest list .... but i would guess 1to9only didnt use this method - and he simply got lucky as the two puzzles share 12 clues

To give a hint to your question:
It took me about the same time to find that 11.4/11.4/10.0, but I started one hour later...
The 12 clues in common between champagne's and 1to9only's are irrelevant : there are singles-only at a distance of 4 from it.
