Thanks m_b_metcalf and 1to9only, I will read the topic "Patterns Game Strategies" .
Last night I produced 10M puzzles of which 2K valid and minimal and 3 !! not with a ED=x.x/1.2/1.2 .
So definitely not a good strategy. It is not based on "vicinity" tactics, but on 3 nested BFBT algorithms.
