It's OK to try to fool the referee up to a point (i.e., don't do things that would get you kicked off the forum or that you would be embarrassed to tell your mom.) It just becomes part of the debugging process.

what kind of rule is this? so according to this i shouldn't be credited for my 8.4 diamond because if i told my mum that i was posting on a sudoku forum at 2am she would freak out and tell me that i'm ruining my health by not sleeping when i should be? i've posted so many trivial things on internet forums like these that i wouldn't tell my mum about, for example, "your mum" jokes. this damn game needs a rule update - or if the original rule was the intention of the game, the gremlin should be powered by peoples' mums instead of a nonsentient bot

one thing i've noticed is that if either of the cells r7c7 or r8c8 match with any of r1c4 or r4c1, it instantly creates the nishio pattern (finned franken jellyfish? it's been a long time, i don't know anymore) that se rates 7.9, unless you destroy it by putting another matching clue elsewhere in specific spots. like in this puzzle the two 8's (with no 8 elsewhere) instantly give the 7.9 elimination, and same with the 2's. but it's a completely useless elimination every time so it looks like it's hard to find a 7.9 diamond

also does anyone else have an enormous mount everest sized pile of shiny 2.8/2.8/2.8 diamonds that are all unplayable because none of them are minimal or is it just me?

sometimes i wonder if really, really fat people could make a living for themselves as a goalkeeper in ice hockey if they could block the entire goal and make it impossible for the other team to score. gremlin? you got any thoughts?
