This pattern with 25 clues - with 2 removed from a 27 clue all-"diagonal"-clue patern.
There are at least 192 ed symmetrical patterns that I found
only 2 have been played in the patterns game [220 and 363]

I can foresee a lot of puzzles with this pattern - particularly in the ones with diagonal symmetry, no real reason why there wont be a set of high rating diamonds in each pattern

Hi coloin,

Good to have another view on the pattern.
I worked in blind mode -1+2 starting from the PH 24 clues to initiate the 25 field, so I never had a look to the patterns

This pattern has at least hundreds millions valid puzzles and a significant percentage of them in the PH area. Working with a laptop, I am forced to make choices. I had for example a seed for mladen's highest at depth 2, but the seed was rated too low and has been thrown to the bin.

Without a quick pre rating tool, it's nearly impossible to be efficient in such a game. More than 80% of the valid puzzles are just ignored in my process.

I strongly believe in mladen's forecast that more than 1000 puzzles are in the PH area I continue to produce many of them
