The results file has been updated correctly with the 'more' puzzles, but the game's start is now overdue

g.r.emlin was recently moved to one of my servers, which should increase reliability in the long term, but may cause glitches in the short run.

I suspect that there could be a time zone issue as my server is in a different time zone than g.r.emlin is used to, but I am just guessing. I'll go look into it further.

It isn't a time zone issue, it is something more serious. I sent an e-mail to Glenn.

I added a bad crontab entry that set off a controlled fork bomb. It's a good thing
1) it only did this once an hour
2) it died at the deepest level and crashed the referee

There was also another scripting problem caused by a bad patterns game config file entry that clobbered a script variable.
That was a recursion bug of another flavor.

Let's try this again. I'm letting cron handle the restart to make sure it will work when it's not being watched.
We'll know if it works within the hour.
