When i saw the penalty, i thought i would have posted the same puzzle twice, so i posted another one before reading the text carefully. Then i realized, that it was the 10 min rule, i violated and deleted the new puzzle again. But gremlin had already seen it ...

Congrats to Ron, the 9.2 is the only posted rating i did not find.
There must be a strange leak in my method. I looked in its neighbourhood with the same method and found all but 2 puzzles in my list (having 11861 puzzles).

that's odd -- in our earlier discussion re "comment", you seemed to suggest that a quote serves as a "comment" header

that part of the post parser is interesting, in particular because of the countermeasures
against (encouraged with a measure of etiquette) stump the fool tactics

one of the overriding triggers is font embellishments
absent ::: comment :::, any font embellishments before what looks like a valid submission,
quoted or not, treats the post as a submission

you got credited with the submission and lucked out that someone else made a move before your post

moral: if a post looks anything like a submission then ::: comment ::: it

(and i happen to have a close personal relationship with one of the Moderators.)

and when g.r.emlin does a final pass for posting Final Results -- it won't see the 7.0

and decided this deserves a penalty for premature-entry;
came back to post notice of penalty --
and eleven just manage to neak in and delete,
12 seconds before g.r.emlin's post.

Pat, no headache anyway.

Its just a game and i have some interest, if the hardest ratings for fixed patterns can be found in a few days. This seems to be the case, since in the most cases the hardest have been found early.

By the way i never would have the chance to win the game. For this i would need much better tools (like other guys have) and more time.
