I forgot to ad "code" around my last post.

Of course editing it is evil.:D

Your latest post will not be marked as "edited" if you do it before anyone else replies. I've done the editing for you this time.
I'm sure JPF's rule applies only to replied posts, not the latest post in a thread.

Posting in red is EVIL.:)

I do not assume that JPF meant what you think.
I'm not editing anything, unless I am trying to lose points.

Edited just because.

OK. I am trying to lose points.

It is a pretty poorly stated, and intended, rule.

Because it only impacts, negatively, on people trying to comply.

It can help people trying to "not win".

Udosuk....

You are destroying threads by editing.

My point was not with you, nor with the forum.

I would have never corrected the lack of "code".

It was a point to show the "rule", in this context and forum, to be not a good one.

News flash.

I strongly dislike rules.

This thread has way too many for me.

Whatever you do, count me out.

The initial premise was interesting, the pedantic stuff was not.
(And it is mounting up.)

Have fun, you will!

I'll take it as your misinterpretation of what JPF meant with "edited" in his rule. Editing an unreplied post will not incur an "edited" mark, which is an important knowledge which I was trying to show you.

Every game should have rules, as is every forum. Otherwise it will just be a total mess. The major point of JPF's rule is to merely prevent players from changing their submitted puzzles retrospectively to affect the actual scoring. It doesn't necessary prohibit people from editing the general contents in their posts. I don't need to "assume" this. I think it's pretty obvious to most people.

If one feels uncomfortable with rules, it's a reasonable personal choice to stay in places where rules don't affect him/her.

Personal feeling is a funny thing. Some people feel uncomfortable with rules. Some people feel uncomfortable whenever they see people post 3-4 times in quick succession. I guess we all have to put up sometimes.

BTW, the font colour I used for moderational comments is brown, not red. It's not difficult to check out this fact. It's just a way I use to distinguish from my comments as a normal member (like in here).
