Just been searching through the records of when I did this marathon exercise !!
I think I worked on one level at a time....The 30Max and above is a bottomless pit of puzzles..but the 27Max and below is workable....
One of the challenges is that a vicinity search tends not to find the next advanced clue. Well done so far though...
My guess is when you get down to my best puzzle then maybe that is the minimum.....or you indeed find a better one..
Mauricio's 28 clue 123456789 puzzle seems to be the only one with this initial start ...
I have been unable to find a 36 clue with 4 clues in each box/row/column. If this is the case then the first and second rows in MAX28 and above are forced to be
