Luna!... where've you been?. Brings to mind an old (and ageing) Oz joke.

I await the latest Vorderman publication with extreme disinterest. What did you reckon of the cricket?:D

As a result of which : some balance is required here methinks, I chose to supply it.

Thanks for letting us know that you are distinctly underwhelmed, though (easy target, dont'cha think? especially since La Vorderman isn't here to defend herself)

You don't know that. I can well imagine she has investigated this forum, if not frequents it. She might be a lurker! Or a poster under a pseudonym. It wouldn't surprise me one bit.

If anyone's interested, I'm going to start an online irony class for anyone who chooses to read whilst not superimposing tone. Strange how one person can understand another's frame of mind through emergent language patterns whilst others seem to read only words.

Just an observation.

Neither. Merlot chum's in Scotland for a fortnight and hungover from past two nights anyway. Just picked up the first 12 episodes of Lost though, so I think I'll begin perusal presently.

Really was hungover this morning, too. I had a go at the sudoku in The Times but quality of thought was so poor I ended up just scribbling all over them. Hadn't even gone wrong, either. Just sat there, scribbling. In the cold. With a pigeon.

Lost.

Oh! It's the Poms who are the ironic ones! Right - now I get it.
