Both solved with only 1 layer of locked singles.

After singles+locked singles in your program

First one
Locked 7 in row 2, -7r3c5
Locked 7 in windoku 2 (r2c6+r3c8), -7r3c5
Locked 7 in row 3, -7r2c6
Locked 7 in hidden windoku (r2c1+r3c5), -7r2c6

Second one
Locked 8 in row 8, -8r7c5
Locked 8 in windoku 3 (r7c3+r8c4), -8r7c5

You program does not display all possible solutions for each method.
The whole solution path can give additional information, let me know if you still need that.

These puzzles are rated SE=2.9. If you remove the 1 and 3 in column 5 of the second one, then left-right symmetry is preserved and the rating rises.
