Apologies for not getting involved with these discussions .... Too little time lately.

It would be helpful if the graphic submissions are accompanied by line format to allow digital assistance.

The following is an example:

These can be obtained from the JSudoku "Copy" option if you're using it for puzzle generation ... It should be an easy option for anybody using their own program for generation as well.

my guess --

• 4 x winDoku (not winDoku-X)
• plus central SuDoku (no windows marked, so i'm guessing it's not a winDoku)

thanks for the solution.

I finally solved it tonight. I kept making mistakes b4

It took a lot of concentration to get it right.

Hardest move I recall was a UR type 6.

Great puzzle but very time consuming.

Thanks Pat, The picture was only to demonstrate the order of the grids when translated into line format.

The actual puzzle was from the Bank Holiday 0808 Kazaguruma Special thread. The Kazaguruamas had 4 satellite Windokus & a central vanilla sudoku.
