Tarek, who gave the exact answer (sort of) a short while before I post this, could join in glory. I announce you two joint winners...
The exact answer is "I'm the 1000th post from the first member who posted 1000 times in this forum." (or something along that line)... Notice the quotation reads "This post wrote:"...

BTW I had a cold glass of ... water at 9pm tonight while watching our beloved Swannies fought brilliantly to advance to their 2nd Grand Final in a row... Got a basketball game to play tomorrow... But the footy action is giving me enough highs already!
On the other hand, we're looking at a highly probable NRL Grand Final between Melbourne & Brisbane which will be played in ... Sydney... I think that's just dessert for us... Never an NRL fan and would trade any day on any NRL trophy for the AFL trophy!
BTW it's a big sporting weekend for us (Aussies) internationally too... A Davis Cup final spot is up for grabs, while the Opals will try to give us our very first major world basketball championship on Sunday!
