I have created a list of 180 degrees symmetric 18's. There are almost 24K and no two of them are isomorphic. It is zipped here.
There are essentially 1036 different patterns in that list.

Yes, I started with a seed of 5 or 6 puzzles posted here and then I did a 2on/2off search that kept the symmetry.

I have done something similar and created a list of 30K 20 clues sudokus with full rotational symmetry. It is here. There are just 154 essentialy different patterns in that list, I expected more.

Congratulations!

My own news is less good. Two days before leaving home for two months (starting in Berlin), during which time I was planning to follow events in internet cafes, I find myself already in one, because my hard disk has failed and is being replaced. I have all my programs backed up on a memory stick, but my whole environment is lost and will take days to re-establish when I return. Sigh.

Just a warning to everyone to back up too!

in the list of 180 deg symmetric puzzles you posted were 216 puzzles with both diagonal and antidiagonal symmetry in the same puzzle
the 180 deg puzzles have symmetry order 2
the diagonal/antidiagonal puzzles have symmetry order 4
I don't think any diagonal/antidiagonal 18s had been previously posted
so those 216 puzzles in your list are a great new find
