Does anyone know of any good sudoku books that don't just include lots of puzzles (I can find trillions of those online ) but rather actual information about solving techniques, programming, etc. Things related to sudoku, aside from just the puzzles. I'd be interested in adding those to my library
If you check out Amazon they have a good range of books. Off the top of my head Carol Vorderman does books that contain hints/tips and methodologies, and there is a Teach Yourself book - don't recall the author. Sudoku for Dummies I think gives some information and I'm sure that I've seen at least one on programming.
I wouldn't recommend Carol Vordeman's books. They're very simplistic and she uses her own terminology. She calls finding hidden singles 'dicing and slicing.

I must admit, I haven't actually read any of her instructions. I just bought the Massive book for the puzzles!
