There will always be a logistical problem with samurai and that is that they are simply large.

Fitting them onto a computer screen is a difficult task.

Personaly i don't like samurai much and only occasialy even attempt them but i suppose they are a good way to fill half an hour or so.

if there are easy ways to reperesent these (merged sudokus) in a unversal NOTEPAD TEXT FORM ......... then there would be interest from SOLVERS & PROGRAMMERS

There is an interesting 3D Samurai on http://www.sudoku-ball.com 14 Sudoku's networked on a 3D sphere. Samurai in general but Sudoku-Ball specifically is a very nice puzzle.
