Centre Green 2
is a "hidden single" at r6c8
(as marked);

are you telling us
that the puzzle has one answer
even ignoring DG?

DG solution: Show

The samurai solver I have does not say if the DG solution is unique!

The solution (as standard sudokus) posted in the reddit thread is:

standard sudokus solution: Show

This means the samurai seen as standard sudokus has multiple solutions.

Puzzle with DG can be solved with naked and hidden singles only and is unique.
Without DG indeed has multiple solutions.
