In the freebie tabloid-sized paper called "The Express" that the Washington Post offers at Metro stations and in yellow boxes around town, in addition to the daily Poppocom puzzle on the next-to-last page, there is a section on Friday called "Look Out Weekend". The samurai sudoku is on the last right hand page of this inserted section. Unlike Poppocom's daily puzzles, the solutions aren't available until the following week.

Thanks for the info Sheila. Out here, we don't get the Express. Oh well.

Have a good weekend,

You can see the paper and the puzzle online: Www.washpostexpress.com (I think) but you can't print it. bS

Postby sheila08 » Tue Jan 03, 2006 7:48 pm

The Washington Post is now running a Samurai (5 puzzles in one) Sudoku on Sundays in the comic section.

Does anyone know of a solver for these?

Cheers, Sheila
