Never got stuck exactly, it just seemed to be a slog.

wow, I had no problems with last weeks one, but this
week I have spent over 5 hours on it and still
not even half way there. I'm finding it really tough.

Quite beastly, this one, in that there are no real clues. You have to solve it by brute force, by trial and error. No pleasure in solving this one. It's big, but it's not clever.

No brute force just some tricky logic to get you started then a bit of a slog

I made a mistake after spending ages on it and gave up rather than starting again.

Trickiest of the Samurais so far, I think. Took about 65 mins. Last week's was easier as you could complete most of the link boxes without solving much of the peripheral grids.

I'm not going to tell you how long it took to finally figure out how to do this one. Suffice to say, it's past 0200hrs, the house is quiet, I'm having a wee dram in celebration, but work tomorrow. Never mind - the inner satisfaction plus the dram gives me an inner glow..................
