Problem when closing program

Postby taita61 » Wed May 17, 2006 4:22 pm

Hi there, hoping you can help ...

I have the game loaded and working fine on Windows XP when I am logged on as an Administrator, but when I use my Limited Account profile I have a problem when closing the program, where I keep getting the following message:

"Access to an unnamed file was denied"

I have to log out and log back in again to have access to the program the next time I want to play it.

The Pappocom folder and related sub-folders and programs are stored in the Shared Documents folder to avoid sharing conflicts.

Any ideas how to get rid of the problem ?
Cheers

Hi Garry,

Please accept our apologies. There is a known issue with User accounts. The program does not behave properly if it is installed in a User account. This behavior will be corrected in the next release of Sudoku.

In the meantime, there are two suggested work-arounds. One is to uninstall the program and re-install it in the Administrator account. The other is to change the Permissions on the User account so that the User has the ability to write (save files) to the directory in which the main Sudoku program (sud.exe) is saved.
