I'm having problems downloading, getting stuck on the prerequisites. I've read Wayne's great & detailed instructions on downloading manually, but I don't know how to determine which prerequisites I need. I have Windows XP (home edition) with Svc. Pk. 2 (downloaded Sept. 2004) and I have Microsoft Installer 3.1 (saw it in my list of downloaded updates). Couldn't figure out whether I have MDAC of any sort. I have a DSL connection which does automatic updates. Would appreciate any help on this. TIA.

When you go to install Sudoku (that is, when you Run the SudokuSetup file), does the Installation program stop and tell you that you need a prerequisite? If so, it will tell you which prerequisite you need.

If it doesn't tell you need a prerequisite ... then, you don't, and so there should be no problem.
