When I played on a friends PC, any number which was completed appeared along that bottom line (which also contains the difficulty level, etc.)
I downloaded the trial version on my own PC, but the numbers are not appearing on the bottom. Is there anything I can do.

I'm running build 1.00.03

The option you're after, in that version, is under View > Game Options > Hall of Fame. Turn on Fill Wells, and set it to Automatically.
