Mac Version

Postby shin1to » Sun Sep 25, 2005 11:07 am

I have read through the wishlist and don't think this was covered anywhere. I realize that the Macintosh is a minority-owned computer, but there are still a lot of us around, and growing (thanks to the ipod!).

Any chance of a Macintosh version coming out?

Thanks,

Shin

Mac version

Postby lizbot » Mon Oct 31, 2005 7:13 pm

Yes please!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am totally addicted to sudoku, and am constantly trying to get new puzzles. When I saw you had a computer program I was really excited. Until I read the fateful notice that the program was Windows-only.:(

Please make a Mac version, as I will buy it immediately and I'm sure many others will too. Please save me from having to mooch newspapers off my family to get new puzzles or waiting another month to complete the contest puzzle at sudoku.com. Please help me take control of my addiction and make a sudoku program that runs on Macs.

UniSudoku available for the Mac

Postby UniSudoku » Sat Feb 18, 2006 4:01 pm

Hello, I've just released UniSudoku, a new Sudoku program for the Mac. An intuitive interface lets you make "pencil marks" and fill in guesses while staying in the flow of the game. The program generates puzzles at three levels of difficulty. You may also enter your favorite puzzles from the newspaper, books and the Internet directly into UniSudoku.

Best of all the interface is very clean and "Mac"-like.

David -

Many thanks for the Mac version. I am running OSX version 10.3.9 and while I could download the program and an icon appears in my dock, I can not get a puzzle up or make it otherwise run.

Have I don't something wrong?

Thanks,

Cheers,

Shin

Hi Shin,

Thanks for trying it out but UniSudoku requires Mac OS X 10.4.

Is it actually windows only, or just anti-mac, i am using Linux Mandrake. Would it work on Linux?
