Library book (sudbook): Time Trial 1

Sudoku puzzles, off-site games and other resources on the Internet

First post - and undoubtedly not the last

These things are driving me insane!! In a good way, I think....

I started playing them when they came out in the Times and I was so pleased to find this program.

Anyway - first Time Trial - I completed them in 69 minutes, 51 seconds.

Great idea - let's have Hard ones in the next Trial:)

2 hours and 4 seconds - red flags off. Not too shabby! Bizzarely I got stuck on #7, had a spot of number blindness lol - took me 24 mins for that one, should have been 10 or so really!

I'm working on these to and from work (before I get my paper and after I solve the daily). Okay, it's been 5 days and I'm hooked on Sudoku.

I'm gonna be ashamed to post my time when I finish. I'm only 4 puzzles in and clocking in at under 3 hours doesn't seem a possibility.

56:56 for me. Quite chuffed with that. Not doing 'em again, can't see the point. The time'll be faster won't it?

To be more serious, I know I'm pretty fast, mainly coz I don't trawl the net looking for impossipuzzles to throw fish at, I merely concentrate on getting really quick at Pappocom's own H's and VH's. As such, I'm somewhat sceptical about the 35 minute claim. Unless it's Brent Spiner.

I'm not as fast as some of you.

I got:
V.Easy - 3:52 , 3:17 ,
Easy - 7:10 , 6:45 , 8:01 ,
Medium - 9:27 , 9:24 , 10:03 , 6:56 , 7:39
Totals to 72:34, which is strangely enough, the same as my best half marathon time, but I'm not so tired afterwards.

A harder set would be good, if anyone knows where to download other libraries.

Easy: 3:11, 2:38, 2:10
Medium: 3:33, 4:46, 3:03, 3:49, 5:07

Total Time: 31:59

Pappocom wrote:A Library book called Time Trial 1 can now be downloaded from www.sudoku.com/libbooks.htm

The Library book contains 10 puzzles: 2 Very Easy, 3 Easy and 5 Medium.

Library books can be used only with the Sudoku program from Pappocom. Read about the program at www.sudoku.com/program.htm or download it from www.sudoku.com/download.htm

the link for the "library books" no longer works
