I haven't seen the answers to those puzzles in the Times yet. I could tell you what I had if you like, or would you prefer a few clues?
Looking at the Deadly one, it's hard to remember how I did it, but in box 4, the two numbers adding up to 16 must be 7 and 9. From this you can deduce which two numbers must make the 12, and after that you can see what the numbers adding up to 7 in the same box must be.
Just remembered another hint: bear in mind that boxes 3, 6 and 9 must add up to 135. If you add up the totals of the enclosures in those 3 boxes, the difference between the total and 135 gives you the number in row 7, column 6. You can use this technique again in boxes 1, 4 and 7, where one cell spills over into box 2.
