Killer Jigsaw #1 Digits 007

Postby Richard S » Sun Aug 20, 2006 6:02 am

Hi all,

Using Sumocue I can finally present what I have in mind for months already: A jigsaw killer with the digits 0, 0 and 1 to 7, instead of 1 to 9.

I like to include the zero in my puzzles because it sets the mind sharp again: there are more possibilities: a sum of 6 in a cage of size 3 is no more 'automatically' 1,2,3.
With a double zero, there are even more possibilities: 6,0,0; 5,1,0; 4,2,0; 3,2,1.
(The zero is the only digit that can appear twice in a cage!)

Of all sudoku-variants I like jigsaws most. I am especially charmed of the 'Law of Leftovers', which is by far my favorite technique.
You will definitely need this technique here, as well as most of the normal killer techniques.

Here it is:

Enjoy it!
