For SteveC. See how I included the BUG in the kraken SIS? Obviously that's normally omitted, but it's actually the complete picture of how DP logic works. There's logically nothing wrong with having obviously false SIS members or kraken chains that produce contradictions (making those branches false). It just tells that the truth(s) must be in the other branches. This is related to your earlier comment here:

JC Van Hay once pointed out (a very LONG time back) that the standard Fish=Fin strong-link rule is not always valid because the (unfinned) Fish itself can sometimes be false.

I respect JC a lot, but in this case he seems to have been wrong (or at least left you with a wrong impression). The rule is always valid, even if the "fish" body is known to be false (in which case it's not really a fish at all but a DP). It just forces at least one of the "fins" to be true, but the strong link still works normally -- just like the SIS in my BUG kraken above.
