I would like to see the Installation program altered to first search for the prerequiste files in the local directory the installation program is running from before attempting to download them from the web. It would also be nice to allow people to download the necessary components piece by piece before starting the installation rather than getting stuck trying to do it after the installation has started. It would also be nice that the installation program would warn people that reboot(s) may be necessary so that people can decide if now is a good time to install. Between the reboots and the multiple trips to the web to download multimeg files installation is can be a long and drawn out process on anything other than a broadband based system. Some of us are still stuck with dialup because economical broadband simply does not exist were we live.
