I just downloaded SUDOKU software, installed XML SP2, but when I try to load SUDOKU software I get following error message: "Source file not found:C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1|MIMARS~1\INSTAL~1\{FB505~1\{C8A52~1\OFFLINE\0\Sud.exe. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

PLEASE HELP!

I am having the same problem

Postby jcabiria » Mon Mar 20, 2006 1:16 am

I had installed Sudoku once and it worked great. I reformat my drive, bvut when I went to reinstall, I got the same error message as in this tread above:

"Source file not found:C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1|MIMARS~1\INSTAL~1\{FB505~1\{C8A52~1\OFFLINE\0\Sud.exe. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. "

I already downloaded and installed xml sp2 and sdk

This is a paid-for program and I would like to get it functional again.

Thanks for your help.

Installation

Postby Gloria » Wed Apr 12, 2006 2:22 pm

I downloaded the free demo for 28 days and it worked fine. I had to do a system restore and now I get the message check for C:/ProgramFiles/Common/Mimars/instal/FB505/C8A52/offline/o/Sud.exe

That file does not exist and I can't get it on the computer. Please help.

I will be purchasing the program but would like to try it free for awhile first
Thanks[/list]

Hi Gloria and jcabiria,

Please follow these steps to get back on track:

1. Uninstall the program (using the Uninstall command on your Programs list) or Remove it (using the Add and Remove Software feature in your Control Panel).

2. Delete this directory on your computer:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\MimarSinan\Installation Information\{FB5055E4-9BE1-425F-B40A-33E43E9460DA}

3. Download the SudokuSetup file from www.sudoku.com/download.htm.

4. Pause the "real-time" scanning feature of your anti-virus software and anti-spyware software, if applicable.

5. Install the Sudoku program again, by running the SudokuSetup file.

6. Enter your registration information into the Sudoku program by selecting “Enter key…” from the “File” menu.
