The 3800 pages of the The New Shorter Oxford English Dictionary don't mention the noun stonker, though they mention that a stonk is a game of marbles (rare Scottish usage) or a concentrated artillery bombardment (military slang). Perhaps Crazy Girl would like to see the next the next Ashes series contested at marbles rather than cricket - in order to give the Australians a better chance?

Thanks Shazbot for explaining what OP means. Knowing 'em's sense of humour I didn't really take this to heart. Mac's got a point - probably time to close this thread.
