Hi all.. I thought it was now time to touch base as people may be wondering about my absence for the past month or so.

After my operation this week the urologist advised me there is no evidence of the dreaded C which I have been worried about and now recovering well at home.

After using the "rebored equipment" for the first time in the hospital after the operation it wouldn't surprise me if I have left teeth marks in the iron bar normally used for holding on to.

During my absence I've been glancing through the Forum posts but not able to concentrate but have found renewed enthusiasm in tackling some long overdue home renovations which, combined with dieting, has shed some 13 kilos from my weight which has also improved my health.

I hope emm is feeling better after noting her sking accident.

Regards to all,

Cec

Hi Cec

Glad you're back. I'm cool. I was purple and black, now I'm green and yellow.:D

PS: Show you my wounds if you show me yours!:D

Thanks udosuk and emm for your comments. Yes, it was a good Australia Day as far as the cricket was concerned but I would prefer to have watched a closer result.

Showing my wounds as suggested by emm would probably bring fits of laughter so I decline this invitation. Whilst being modest it's nice to think that after seeing the diagram in underquark's post that the cecum organ may have been named after me.

No mikejapan, I don't think emm was ambiguous with her limerick but rather it was my incorrect assumption that she was skiing when in fact she referred to a surf board.

Welcome back Cec, hope your recovery is going well.

I did at one stage think that emm was either sand-yachting or that she was surfing sand dunes (or is that sandboarding?).

Thanks MCC for your thoughts and I'm improving everyday - the feeling of razor blades passing through me is now getting less painful. I'm still trying to figure out emm's above comment of now feeling "green and yellow" after her surfing accident.

Cec, I believe it's because the black and blue bruises turn green and yellow over time. I still think it was spousal abuse, but maybe I'm just used to how it goes in the US lol.

Gee I'm slow on the uptake and just realized what emm meant about the plastic surgery. I'll blame my slow reaction to the after effects of the anaesthetic. Playing golf tomorrow so obviously getting back to normal. Thanks Hud for explaining about "green and yellow".
