Free application for Jidoku

Postby Knasher » Thu Mar 15, 2007 2:41 pm

Hi everyone,
People probelly sign up alot and post these kind of things, but anyway here goes.
I'm a forth year computer science student and as part of my final year project (an annoyingly small part at that) I have coded up a java applet which generates puzzles for a sudoku variant called jidoku (as apposed to jigoku :P I've also heard it called comparassion sudoku and less than sudoku). For those not familiar with the puzzle I has all the same rules as normal sudoku but instead of getting givens as clues you get less than constraints between cells.

Anyway another part of my project involves getting feedback so if anyone has some time to kill I would really appreciate it if you could give it a go and then leave some feedback. I have posted this on a couple of other forums but nobody seems to gone on the whole feedback thing so if you have a second I would really appreciate it.

Anyway onto the link: cosmos.ucc.ie/~jjh2/fyp/jidoku.htm

Again really appreciate the time taken
